Lisa Moloney Welcomed as Trustee to Round Square Board

We are delighted to announce that Principal, Lisa Moloney is one of three new Trustees recently appointed to the Round Square Board of Trustees.

Lisa was selected by majority vote of the Heads of School in the Australasia and East Asia Region and assumes the role of Round Square Regional Trustee for Australasia and East Asia. The Australasia and East Asia Region includes China, Indonesia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Mongolia, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Republic of Korea.

Each of the five Round Square Regions is represented on the Round Square Board by a Regional Trustee, who is the current Head of a Round Square Global Member School within the Region. Lisa has been appointed for an initial term of office of four years.

ÌÇÐÄlogoÃ×·ÆÍà was one of the first Australian girls’ schools to be accepted as members of Round Square, joining in 2004 as Regional members (now called Candidate-members) and then Global members from 2006.

Lisa first became involved with Round Square whilst Deputy Principal and Head of High School at Radford College Canberra where she was instrumental in Radford’s successful application to become a Round Square school. At ÌÇÐÄlogoÃ×·ÆÍÃ, the Round Square IDEALS and Discovery Framework are embedded in all aspects of School life and, through the School’s Round Square Student Committee, all girls have the opportunity to be involved.

Under Lisa’s leadership students actively participate in exchange and Round Square conferences, and the process is underway to extend the Round Square approach into the Junior School. Lisa has supported Round Square activities beyond her ÌÇÐÄlogoÃ×·ÆÍÃ, having undertaken Candidacy evaluation visits and ÌÇÐÄlogoÃ×·ÆÍà hosted the 2019 Round Square Annual Regional Meeting.

Lisa’s appointment secures ÌÇÐÄlogoÃ×·ÆÍÃ’s commitment to Round Square and reflects on our significant involvement across the organisation.
