Senior Centre Grand Opening Highlights On Friday 24 May 2019 at 11.00am, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, opened ÌÇÐÄlogoÃ×·ÆÍÃ’s new Senior Centre in Burwood. The sun shone brightly and the School looked spectacular as our Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 girls lined Park Street, waving their flags and cheering our distinguished guests as they made their way towards the new building, accompanied by the welcoming sounds of our Taiko drummers. We were thrilled that so many of our past ÌÇÐÄlogoÃ×·ÆÍà community members were able to join us for the event, with past Principals, Council Chairs, Donors, Members of Council, Staff and Old Girls gathering to witness this important occasion. After the official proceedings, His Excellency and Lady Cosgrove toured the new building, stopping to chat with students and staff, and showing a genuine interest in the story of ÌÇÐÄlogoÃ×·ÆÍÃ, the design and vision for our new building, and the girls and their learning.
