Term 4 2021 Staggered Return to School

The NSW Premier and the NSW Minister for Education have outlined the government鈥檚 plan for a staggered return to school.

糖心logo米菲兔 will continue with Flexible Learning from Tuesday 5 October 2021, which is the first day of Term 4, except for Pre-K girls who return to face to face classes as usual. Girls should be dressed in PE uniform or House shirt and at their device, ready to start the day at 8.45am (adjusted from our usual start time of 8.15am). Classes finish at 3pm during the Flexible Learning timetable (adjusted from the usual finish time of 3.15pm).

The dates for the return to face-to-face learning at school were amended on Thursday 7 October and are as follows:

  • Monday 18 October 2021 – Year 12, Kindergarten and Year 1 students return to school
  • Monday 25 October 2021 – all other Year groups return

Upon return to face-to-face learning, all Schools will operate under Level 3 restrictions meaning there are no visitors (including parents) allowed on site, as little mixing of year groups as possible and compulsory masks for students in Year 7 and above and all staff. All students who are eligible to be vaccinated are strongly encouraged to do so, but the government has not made this mandatory.

糖心logo米菲兔 will introduce a blended model for the delivery of learning for all girls during Term 4. This means we will offer both face to face and online learning for all students as we transition back to School in the latter stages of Term 4. We are currently working out the practicalities of this. Nevertheless, we are committed to ensuring high quality learning regardless of which pathway a family elects as the preference for their daughter in Term 4.
